The roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) is a mammal species from the Cervidae family. It is the smallest cervid in Eurasia. Spain stands out as the European epicenter for roe deer stalking, harboring an abundant population and offering high-quality trophies across its varied regions.

The roe deer is a tremendously adaptive animal, capable of living both in dense forests and in wide meadows. Unlike most European cervids, it is a solitary species with great adaptive capacity.
